Our product range comprises of clay bricks, Thermalite blocks, aggregate blocks, Red Bank chimney, roofing and flue systems, precast concrete and flooring products and Formpave permeable paving.

Purpose of Position

The role is to coordinate the day-to-day operation of our Sales Centre assisting our customers to provide a first-class service in a timely manner and working closely with our other departments including logistics, field sales managers and Site teams.

Key accountabilities
- Processing quotations using our internal order system.
- Add value to every order
- Pro-actively pursue sales leads
- Liaise with Area Sales Manager daily to ensure smooth running of a designated area to give the customers a professional service
- Ensuring that queries are resolved timely within agreed Service Level Agreements
- And any other duties to ensure smooth running of the Sales Office.

Job requirements
- Drive to provide excellent customer services
- Excellent telephone manner
- Ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident & outgoing personality
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and MS teams

**The role holder is expected**:

- to comply with all aspects of the Forterra Compliance Policy
- to ensure that all the business/operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures and in such a way so as to prevent any fraudulent activities taking place
- to comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation
- to update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required
- to comply will all aspects of the HR Policies and Procedures of the Company
