We’re looking for a Brand & Creative Lead to develop the vision and direction for Simplyhealth, and our Denplan brand, to become nationally recognised, resonant brands, brought to life through Consumer, Corporate and Dental campaigns. You’ll be a key driver in the execution of our product-led vision and strategy, working alongside the Content Marketing Manager to create a year-long campaign calendar, supporting the needs and requirements of the Product Marketing, Communications, and Growth teams. You’ll work alongside channel owners to ensure campaign performance and brand awareness is closely monitored and reported on, with robust OKRs in place.
Reporting to the Head of Brand & Content, you’ll have two main areas of responsibility, across all products and audiences:
- Brand ownership, stewardship, and strategy
- Creative excellence, leadership, execution, and campaign planning
You’ll create and deliver a brand infrastructure, championing the Simplyhealth and Denplan brands, ensuring consistency externally and across the business. You’ll ensure that the value of brand is recognised and hold responsibility for embedding our vision.

You’ll be confident leading a team, helping to build a creative centre of excellence of which business-wide stakeholders will rely upon for design, ideas and creative execution.

This role could be perfect for someone working agency side where you’ve had exposure to different channels, ways of communicating, and, worked with lots of people, listening to feedback and coming up with the best responses and approaches. We want you to bring fresh thinking and dynamism, so you’ll naturally be more creative, and, not be afraid to break boundaries
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience of brand management, preferably across a portfolio, including building and growing a credible brand
- Experience of advertising and/or agency background with consistent eye on creativity, ensuring we’re delivering distinct, engaging, best-in-class storytelling and visuals
- Developed bold, exciting, challenging concepts from briefs to deliver exceptional creative outputs, with thorough understanding of how to engage an audience and articulate messages concisely
- A thorough understanding of all marketing channels
- Demonstrable advertising production experience including television, radio, out of home, digital, social, print - activity delivered to a high creative standard (with attention to detail)
- Experience managing creative agencies
- Line management experience (including building high-performing teams)
- Experience of creating and owning campaign plans
- Experience of building strong stakeholder relationships, using great communication skills
- Experienced with project managing campaigns, including reporting
- Experienced with multi-tasking, prioritising, and working at speed - and pivoting when you need to
- Self-motivation, energy, creativity and be an inspiring leader with both a big picture approach and tactical ability, making data-driven decisions with customer-centricity at heart, and a willingness to challenge when necessary
- Experience working in a regulated business and/or healthcare
- Experience working with Compliance and Health & Safety teams to ensure correct procedures are followed
