Employee Communications Senior Specialist (CEO Communications Support)

Working closely with the Global Director Corporate Employee Communications, this role will be responsible for supporting successful delivery of Corporate Employee Communications within AVEVA. Specifically, this will involve supporting executive level communications, working with the SVP Inclusion and Engagement to create and deliver the CEO communications.

Further to, this role will also be responsible for working with our Senior Executive Communications management team, leading on content collation for employee engagement activities.

This role requires a resourceful individual with a mix of interpersonal, strong project management and communication skills as well as excellent writing skill and attention to detail.

Principal Accountabilities
- The effectiveness of the Communications Specialist will be measured by the quality of project and stakeholder management, and accurate reporting, as well as the successful delivery of communications major events/activities and the engagement levels of colleagues.
- Responsibilities_
- Provide support to the SVP Inclusion and Engagement on the creation and delivery of CEO communications.
- Lead the planning, implementation and successful delivery of companywide ‘All Hands’ calls and employee events (in partnership with the broader Employee Communications team).
- Maintain a strategic and practical understanding of all key communications channels and platforms and use this knowledge to advise and provide insight on the best approach to deliver content, honed to channel, platform, and audience.
- Harness strong and proven technical skills to deliver impactful content and seek to deliver with creativity and innovativeness.
- Ensure all content is of the highest standard, rigorously checked and approved by key stakeholders.
- Ensure content is accessible to all colleagues and delivered in the most effective manner possible to encourage engagement.
- Work with the broader Employee Communications team to understand functional priorities and concerns, building this learning into the delivery of corporate wide communications.
- Skills & Qualifications_
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep experience of delivering complex projects and campaigns (5 years +).
- Awareness/knowledge of existing platforms and channels OneSpace (Oak), Poppulo, MS Teams, MS Office, Slido, et al.
- Strong excel and other project management platform skills (e.g., Wrike, MS Project etc).
- Awareness/knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management.
- Strong consultation and negotiation skills.
