Human Resources Business Partner

**About The Role**:
Partnering with the organisation and specific directorates this role is aligned to a Human Resources Business Partner role however internally it is titled as People Development Partner. The People Development team partner and and support the organisation and the workforce throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and on boarding to development, recognition, reward, all employee relations. The role will advise on policies, procedures, structures, with coaching and employment law following best practice whilst being innovative, proactive and forward thinking.
Reporting to the Head of People Development, this role is a real hands on busy role working closely with directorates and their teams. The role has a wide remit and each day will be varied, you will need to be able to prioritise your workload and be solution focused. You will be working closely with the People Development Coordinators and across multiple teams and specialisms. You do not need to be a swimmer to work for us but an appreciation and love for sport is helpful. We have strong employee engagement and passionate employees and as an organisation we are growing as we continue to emerge from the pandemic and move towards our new strategy and future plans. **About You**:
Are you an HR professional with experience of the whole employee lifecycle and relationship building and are able to contribute to a positive inclusive organisation culture?
Do you strive to be solution focused and can build strong trusting work relationships?
If so, this might be the role for you.
We’re looking for an experienced and credible Human Resources professional, who can meet the following essential criteria:
- Experience in the whole employee lifecycle
- Ability to build credible, effective and trusting working relationships at all levels.
- Great coaching and mentoring skills
- Ability to project manage and build business cases
- CIPD qualified (level 3 and above)
- A 'can do' positive proactive outlook
It would also be advantageous if you have experience of working within an HR role in a sport setting and any experience in delivering or writing training but this is not essential.
