**Department**:
The Stockholm Environment Institute’s York Centre, at the University of York (SEI-York), is recruiting a Project Coordinator to grow our team of dedicated support staff. SEI York is a team of 50 staff and 16 PhD students, conducting and supporting impactful research about the environment and sustainable development around the world. We work with a range of organisations including research councils, government departments, charities, businesses as well as international partners such as the United Nations. SEI York has a broad research profile covering five main research areas: air quality and climate change; critical environmental governance; sustainable consumption and production; citizen science; and urban environments, human health, and wellbeing. We aim to ensure that there is a supportive culture at all levels and across all staff groups and offer a range of family friendly, inclusive employment policies and flexible working arrangements. The Air Quality, Climate and Environmental Change (AQCEC) team works internationally to support the development of integrated strategies for the mitigation of air pollution and climate change. This research supports the activities of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), as well as research projects assisting national and sub-national governments plan strategies to achieve development benefits by reducing impacts on human health, crop yields, and contributing to the global drive to combat climate change.
**Role Description**:
