**About RSVP**:
The Next Generation Research SuperVision Project (RSVP) is a pioneering £4.6 million, four-year project funded by Research England and supported by all seven UKRI research councils, Wellcome Trust, and the Crick Institute. Directed by Dr. Karen Clegg at the University of York and Professor Doug Cleaver at Sheffield Hallam University, RSVP is committed to reshaping research supervision practice in the UK. This transformative journey includes scholarship, practice interventions, cultural shifts, and policy changes in research supervision.
**The Role**:
Mentor Coordinator We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Mentor Coordinator to lead, design, and coordinate a series of mentoring programs for doctoral supervisors. These programs will play a pivotal role in supporting supervisors within institutions, fostering collaboration across institutions, and enhancing Doctoral Training Partnership levels. As Mentor Coordinator, you will shape programs that promote knowledge exchange, skill sharing, and effective communication, revolutionising the landscape of research supervision.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and manage mentoring programs for doctoral supervisors.
- Collaborate with consortium partner organisations to provide training and resources.
- Work directly with project directors and institutional leads to achieve project outcomes related to mentoring.
- Coordinate mentoring activities across research organizations and industry partners.
- Develop processes to facilitate national-level practice sharing.
