Operations Coordinator

At Aquaterra Energy we specialise in providing engineering solutions and equipment to the global offshore energy industry - helping clients drive efficient and sustainable offshore operations from drilling and field development, to decommissioning, carbon capture and storage, renewable, and hydrogen projects.

Are you experienced in leadership of a team, holding and leading meetings, preferably L3 Management qualified, with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources and operate comfortably with clients and other team members coming from a broad spectrum of disciplines with an unquestionable focus on Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

**About the role**:

- Co-ordination and scheduling of operational staff/technicians/3rd party contractors
- Arranging visas as required and liaising with travel bookers to arrange travel.
- Perform regular competency/appraisal assessments of service technicians and 3rd party contractors
- Training and supervision of service technicians and trainees in correct offshore procedures
- Drive team and contractor participation in on-board safety systems
- Participate in week on/week off duty rota
- Booking medicals survivals vaccines for company wide travelers
- Work in conjunction with Projects department to develop ongoing team plans
- Understanding of completing AEL internal documentation & where it is filed.
- Supporting AEL staff particularly the Project Engineer, to deliver the offshore phase of projects
- Liaising with client representatives, at all levels.
- Take responsibility for driving actions to completion relating to quality and safety issues, including improvement actions
- Any other duties within the scope of the post holder's competency as agreed and on occasion

**About You**:

- L3 Management qualification/ City & Guilds/NVQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant Engineering /Mechanical discipline.
- The ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources and operate comfortably with clients, other team members and other team members and 3rd parties coming from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook essential
- Flexible during times of change
- Experience of leading a team
- Ability to diffuse tension among team members and provide support and leadership
- High levels of perseverance when faced with challenging situations
- Can deal with ambiguity and conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly organised and accurate

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
