Technical Operations Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Operations Coordinator to join our growing SME business at CV-Library, working on building projects in Thetford. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and strong communication skills to work effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Specifications Preparation: Develop detailed technical specifications aligned with project requirements derived from land acquisition budgets, technical, and sales information.
  2. Statutory Enquiries and Submissions: Ensure timely submission and follow-up on statutory enquiries, crossovers, sewer connections, and NHBC/building regulations applications for approval.
  3. Commercial Problem-Solving: Recognise potential issues and present effective commercial solutions promptly, communicating them clearly to stakeholders.
  4. Support to Technical Managers: Assist Technical Managers in job running and take the lead when necessary.
  5. Management of External Consultants: Coordinate external consultants in preparing and issuing production information according to agreed timelines.
  6. Drawing and Information Issuance: Issue drawings and construction-related information using established protocols instructed by the Technical Director.
  7. Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicate with Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, Planning, Commercial, Construction, and Sales teams internally.
  8. Tech Spec Preparation and Monitoring: Prepare and monitor technical specifications.
  9. Site Documentation and Q&A Sales/Legal Notes: Prepare specific site documentation and respond to Sales and Legal queries in preparation for Sales launch information.
  10. Party Wall Awards and Legal Matters: Facilitate necessary information for Party Wall Awards and other third-party legal matters.
  11. Product Research and Development: Conduct market research and contribute to product development.
  12. Marketing and Sales Support: Provide assistance to marketing and sales services.
  13. Quality and Financial Management: Contribute to maintaining high quality and managing financial aspects of the company.
  14. Design Consultant Selection: Assist in selecting and appointing external design consultants.
  15. Design Query Resolution: Resolve technical queries related to designs during the design and construction phases.
  16. Consultant Fee Management: Manage consultant fees and appointments.
