One of our partner schools in North Bristol seeks several committed, knowledgeable Teaching Assistants who are passionate about providing outstanding ASD support. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people and you would contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with special educational needs, namely ASD, in order to promote academic and social development.
- Use your skillset to communicate with learners and support them in their studies to foster engagement in the classroom, utilising well-rehearsed behaviour management strategies.
- Assist in the implementation of IEPs and EHCPs.
- Collaborate with specialist teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience of working with children or young adults with ASD.
- Knowledge of Special Education is advantageous. Relevant training and qualifications are desirable.
- Training in relevant fields such as Makaton, PECs, Team Teach or CALM would be beneficial to the role.
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with children.
