About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Health and Wellbeing Team at Vinney Green Secure Children's Home. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert social care perspectives to the health team and work closely with young people engaged with the Criminal Justice System.
Main Responsibilities
- Undertake complex work that requires inter-agency working and coordination.
- Apply advanced knowledge of a wide range of legislation and policies.
- Undertake and/or coordinate work with networks, communities, and agencies.
- Contribute to the development of services, policies, and practices within legislative and policy frameworks.
- Be responsible for the continuing professional development of self and contribute to the development of others.

Person Specification
- Registered Social Worker
- Significant experience of working with Looked after Children/Child protection
- Working knowledge of PACE
- Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of equalities and anti-discriminatory practice and able to demonstrate ability to work in an anti-oppressive manner.
- Experience of supervising others in Child care.
