Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CAMHS clinician to join our Intensive Outreach team as a Community Mental Health Practitioner + Weekends. This is a 12-month fixed-term position that requires a Band 6 clinician to work with children, young people, and their families to provide evidence-based intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to a small caseload of young people with complex social, emotional, behavioural, neurodevelopmental, and mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and carers to develop and sustain relationships across agencies.
- Use a strength-based approach to identify care and treatment options that enable service users to remain within their existing support/care pathways.
- Maintain close working relationships with Community and specialist CAMHS services, Adult Community Mental Health Teams, and Acute Hospital Services.
Requirements:
- Experience as a mental health practitioner, preferably in a CAMHS setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and routine outcome measures.
