About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Intensive Outreach team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide evidence-based interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist CAMHS advice and support to referrers and other agencies.
  • Manage high-risk young people in the community through intensive support.
  • Develop and implement targeted interventions to improve mental health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care and support.
  • Provide training and education to primary care teams on mental health and wellbeing.
Person Specification
  • Professional registration as a mental health practitioner.
  • Experience of working with children and families in mental health services.
  • Therapeutic training and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
