About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner Supervisor to join our team at Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of our Mental Health Support Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health services to children and young people in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Work in partnership with schools to deliver a range of mental health interventions, including group work and direct work with children and young people.
  • Provide clinical supervision to supervisees on a scheduled basis to ensure safe practice and adherence to governance obligations.
  • Facilitate fair access to services and promote social inclusion regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
  • Undertake and record accurate assessments of risk and operate clear risk management processes in line with locally agreed procedures.
