About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Intensive Outreach team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with children, young people, and their families to provide evidence-based interventions and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist CAMHS advice and support to referrers and other agencies.
  • Manage high-risk young people in the community through intensive support and case management.
  • Develop and deliver targeted learning opportunities for primary care staff to enhance their knowledge and capabilities in mental health care.
  • Provide information, signposting, and support to young people and families.
Person Specification
  • Professional registration as a mental health practitioner.
  • Experience of working with children and families in mental health services.
  • Therapeutic training and skills.
  • Desirable: DBT/Systemic experience.
