Job Summary:The Band 6 Specialist Mental Health Recovery Practitioner will be responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to service users with complex needs. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for service users with severe and enduring mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including therapeutic interventions and risk management strategies.
- Provide high-quality care coordination and support to service users, including liaison with other services and professionals.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless care and support for service users.
- Participate in clinical leadership and supervision, including covering for the manager and colleagues as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including the single health and social care record.
- Report and record activity relating to information reporting and performance requirements.
- Participate in management, caseload, and clinical supervision in accordance with trust policy.
- Provide mentoring and training to others in relevant practice areas, as required.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Professional registration with a relevant professional body.
- Experience working in mental health, preferably in a community setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and services.
- Knowledge of psychological therapies and risk management strategies.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
