We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS clinician to join our Intensive Outreach team as a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner. This is a 12-month fixed-term position that offers a unique opportunity to work with children, young people, and their families in a dynamic and progressive service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Manage a small caseload of high-risk young people and provide intensive support to prevent Tier 4 admission.
- Build strong relationships with community and specialist CAMHS services, adult community mental health teams, and acute hospital services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service delivery and development plans.
- Professional registration as a mental health nurse, social worker, or other relevant clinician.
- Experience of working with children and families in mental health services.
- Therapeutic training and skills, including DBT and systemic approaches.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
