Our Apprenticeship opportunity is based at our Nottingham city centre based offices and we know we can offer you an interesting and unique opportunity to develop the broad range of skills required for a successful career in a People & Culture team.

Initially, you will study a level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship but with the long term plan for you to start your CIPD level 3 with us.

This role will evolve and grow with you, you will be fully supported and trained as you will be mentored by one of our amazing team.

Once fully trained, you will be able to
- Manage the HR inbox, answering queries yourself or forwarding to the relevant person.
- Support with monthly payrolls, ensuring all new employees are created and all changes are made before payroll cutoff.
- Carry out & provide standard employee references
- Attend and minute taking for our People & Culture weekly meetings
- Maintaining our People database including updating leavers, joiners and changes
- Setting up manual staff files.
- Scanning and online filing using Sharepoint
- Updating and maintaining Organisation Chart
- Preparing ID badges
- Writing HR documents including end of probation letters/replies to resignation letters
- Ad hoc general admin to support the team
- Coordinating Staff Work Anniversaries and Birthdays as well as special events

**About You**:
First and foremost, you will want to work in an administration role and have an interest in learning more about HR/People & Culture. We are happy to give you all the help and support you need for you to develop at your pace if you are keen, willing and hungry to learn

Any previous administration experience would be a huge benefit but we aren't looking for you to have any previously HR experience. It would be really helpful if you are already confident using Microsoft packages including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.
