Exeter, United Kingdom Exeter Diocesan Board of Finance Full time

The Diocese of Exeter is entering an exciting new phase of curate training and development as IME Phase 2 is embedded in the Department of Mission and Ministry to improve communication, continuity and consistency of training across all ordained and lay ministry. The IMF role will job-share with the current office holder in the development and delivery of the IME Phase 2 programme, the training and support of training incumbents, the initial ministerial formation of Licensed Lay Ministers and the preparation of curates for first incumbency.

Both roles will share the delivery of IME Phase 2 and work alongside colleagues to develop a consistent strategic approach to training and development for all ministers, lay and ordained. In addition this role will take the lead on post-licensing training and development for LLMs and the Into Incumbency course for incumbent status curates and new incumbents while the existing office holder (IMFO foundations) takes the lead on Training Incumbent support and development.

The Diocese of Exeter is currently operating a hybrid pattern of office
- and home-based working. The normal place of work will be the diocesan offices in central Exeter with the possibility of some home working if requested.
