We are recruiting for a Personal Assistant to the Divisional Nursing and Quality Director who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with excellent communication and organisational skills, to join our admin team to ensure the smooth running of the Divisional Nursing and Quality Director’s Office and effective internal and external liaison to contribute to the successful running of the Unplanned Division as a whole.
The position will provide full support to the Divisional Nursing and Quality Director, the Deputy and to the divisional governance team when required. The Personal Assistant is a pivotal role with the Divisional Nursing and Quality Director.

**Main duties of the job**
The Personal Assistant to the Divisional Nursing is responsible for providing high quality, efficient and proactive diary management, and high-level administrative and secretarial support to the Divisional Nursing and Quality Director to enable them to fulfil their role effectively.
They will be highly proactive and personable, with the ability to work independently and part of a wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for those with excellent diary management experience.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- GCSE or equivalent English language
- Good Grammar and spelling RSA III or equivalent and/or Word Processing
- Good general education
- Knowledge of the full range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience to degree level or equivalent
- Advanced IT skills in MS Office
Previous Experience
Essential criteria
- Demonstrable secretarial and administrative experience
- Managing appointments and diaries Handling telephone enquiries Extensive Microsoft
- Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint knowledge
- Experience of working to tight deadlines Experience of negotiating and obtaining information from people
- Experience of analysing and presenting Data
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Competent user of MS Office Packages Complex diary management skills
- Previous experience of working for a Director
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: £28,407.00-£34,581.00 per year
Expected hours: 32.5 per week
