Nursing Associate/assistant Practitioner

A band 4 Associate Practitioner is a valued member of our team who will learn all respiratory skills enabling you to work and support the registered nurse workforce, especially in our very busy respiratory support unit and also in the 29 bedded in-patient ward.
Where you will use your new skills gained by working with our clinical nurse educator.
The Associate Practitioner will function at a higher competency level than that of other Clinical Support Workers performing identified skills required by the Post Holders Directorate with responsibility for actively participating as part of the multidisciplinary team.
To assist the registered practitioner in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. You will participate in the development of others through the acquisition of the A1 NVQ Assessors award.
The Associate Practitioner will have the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute towards the provision of providing a high standard of evidence based care.
