We are recruiting for a Secure Care Practitioner to support the MHA Administrator at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all procedures relative to the Mental Health Act and associated legislation are followed.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be educated to GCSE level with qualifications in English and Maths. Experience of working in a healthcare environment is desirable.

Main Duties:
  • To ensure that all procedures relative to the Mental Health Act and associated legislation are adhered to.
  • Ensure the legal detention of patients.
  • Arrange correction of errors relating to detention of patients to meet all legal requirements.
