We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Band 4 Business Administrator, who has excellent organisational skills, to support the work of the Trust’s Quality Improvement Service. The post holder will be required to provide a full administrative service to the 2 teams that make up Quality Improvement Service, including supporting Trust wide quality improvement and clinical audit initiatives and projects.

As the Business Administrator the post holder must be a positive team player and be able to manage conflicting priorities.

**The main responsibilities of the post are as follows**:

- Providing a responsive, comprehensive, confidential, effective and efficient administrative service to meet the needs of the two separate teams (Clinical Audit & NICE Team and Quality Improvement Team) forming the overall Quality Improvement Service.
- To provide general administrative services / assistance to the two separate teams forming the overall Quality Improvement Service, to ensure the smooth running of all the training programmes, meetings, project work, reporting systems and other work related to delivery of the NELFT QIS Strategy
- Undertaking planning and support activities required in respect of meetings, including preparation and distribution of agendas, collation of reports and papers, venue organisation, MS teams management, minute taking, production of appropriate minutes and ensuring that meetings run smoothly.
- Assist the Quality Improvement communications officer with media support and the communication of events and initiatives
- Being responsible for the procurement processes, independently using the electronic ordering and receipting systems
- To provide other Business Administration duties commensurate to grade as per Director of Quality Improvement's requests including diary management and setting up of key meetings.

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata).
