The Supply & Distribution department of the London Ambulance Service has invested in a new warehouse, inventory system and team structure to support one of the busiest ambulance services in the world.

The Supply & Distribution department is responsible for the supply of medical consumables, equipment, PPE and blankets to ensure frontline vehicles are stocked and available to respond to emergency calls. As a Supply Chain Administrator you will play a key role in supporting frontline operations.

As first point of contact for the department we need administrators with excellent communication skills who can work as part of a team or on their own initiative.

As Supply Chain Administrator you will be part of a team providing an efficient and effective administrative service to the Logistics Management Team, working out of our brand new warehouse in Rainham.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Manage the day-to-day office administration for the department including administration requirements for the staff working in the warehouse
- Collation of information to maintain and record the overtime, annual leave and sickness processes for the department using software provided. The production and distribution of weekly returns to meet deadlines.
- Act as main point of contact for the department. Deal with both routine and non-routine queries and tasks arising from both internal and external sources.
- Ordering and receipting of all orders through the Trust’s purchasing system including stationery, new vehicle equipment, consumables, uniform and forms.

Annual leave starts at 27 days a year plus bank holidays.

‘Applicants should familiarise themselves with the new NHS pay progression system introduced from 1 April 2019 as well as the ‘NHS pay deal’ regarding moves from Annex 5 (previously Annex E) to section 2 unsocial hours provision when considering new posts in the NHS.’

Priority will be given to London Ambulance Service employees who are at risk of redundancy.
