Employee Relations Advisor

**About the role**:
The tasks that sit within the People Services ER team are varied - ranging from providing advice on occupational health, conduct cases, Short & Long Term Absence, Flexible working, management of FTC's, New starter occupational health, OH / work placed assessments, Performance Improvement.
To be successful in the role, you'll have previous experience of working in an HR Shared Services team together with providing ER advice at Tier 1 level. Key to your success will also be your excellent attention to detail and sound communication skills. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Bolton office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. This is a hybrid working role which involves 2 days a week in our Parklands, Bolton office and 3 days at home.
**Working Hours**: Full time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.**Training**:You'll receive a comprehensive onsite induction and full training from your Manager, to set you up for success in your new role with lots of support along the way.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Answer calls that come into the People Services Team and provide advice and help
- Manage a portfolio of ASK HR cases
- Ensure issues are escalated as appropriate
- Actioning workflow to ensure activity is prioritised
- Maintain the quality of the data in MY HR and ASK HR
- Manage data integrity and ensure standards for audit requirements are delivered that meet legal and business requirements
- Administer the processes and provision of advice and guidance ER
**About you**:
**What we’re looking for**:
- Experience of working in an HR Shared Services team together with providing ER advice at Tier 1 level
- CIPD qualification would be advantageous
- Attention to detail, quality, pace and precision
- Understands and demonstrates importance of Data Protection and its associated risks
- Computer literate with a good understanding of IT tools and Microsoft packages, demonstrating accuracy and speed when updating relevant HR systems
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate risk awareness and impacts of risk
- Stakeholder Management experience
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
