**Who we are looking for**:
A Service Design and Transition Coordinator that will be responsible for key activities during the design, build and delivery of new systems that help run our products.
Service Design and Transition is the next iteration of the DevOps platform design team, with responsibilities expanding to cover build and transition activities.
You will help to facilitate and document the design of new systems, working with stakeholders to successfully build out these services and support their transition into live operation.
As the improvement and automation of building servers moves us from the IT Work Request (ITWR) system to Automated Server and Application Provisioning (ASAP), we are looking for someone to plan, coordinate and monitor the workload flowing through this system. This system is expected to enable fast delivery of product and increase our involvement in development-driven small works.
You will also be responsible for defining, scheduling and progressing work packages not managed by our Project and Programme Delivery (PPD) function.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
**Preferred skills and experience**:
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple teams to prioritise workload.- Experience troubleshooting technical problems, primarily based around server OS and network connectivity, and performing root cause analysis to support continuous improvement.- Awareness of our product environments and hosting platform.- Facilitation and influencing skills.- Ability to support colleagues by sharing or handing over workload as priorities change.- Ability to work with autonomy but also collaborate well and progress work as part of a wider team.Read more

**Main Responsibilities**:
- Managing the pipeline of servers built using the ASAP system.- Working with all stakeholders to investigate and resolve any issues with ASAP builds.- Contributing to the continuous improvement of team processes and approaches.- Providing a point of contact for questions relating to the ASAP process.- Working with the DevOps Platform and Automation team to develop dashboards, reports and team metrics to improve management information within the ASAP process.- Collaborating with multiple teams including Networks and Service Asset Configuration Management (SACM), to ensure timely and accurate creation of L3 services to support ASAP builds.- Providing the initial point of contact for new design requests for small works not being delivered by PPD.Read more
