Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a Public sector client for a Projects officer to support the Projects and Events Manager with the administration of all projects and events to work on a tempoaray basis

Hours - 22.5 hours per week

Payrate - £12.38 per hour

Location - Pontypool

To plan, organise and deliver all projects in liaison with the Projects and Events Manager in accordance with agreed governance arrangements and produce reports on these for the relevant Committee(s).

To develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders to support the delivery of projects and events.

To attend meetings which may be outside of your normal hours and take minutes when required.

To cover reception as and when necessary, in the absence of the Admin Officer.

To assist with the content and development of the Council's website and social media pages

To assist in preparing and collating information for the Annual report.

Essential skills required

Excellent standard of written English, numeracy and IT skills

Be able to communicate well in a manner appropriate to individual needs, in person, by phone or in writing

I.T Literate and have good knowledge of Microsoft packages and Social Media platforms

Be organised and prioritise own workload

Be able to work using own initiative

Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
