**Salary**: £22,000 - £24,000 dependent on experience
Hours: 8.30am-5pm

**Responsibilities for the job role**:

- Entering GRN’s to the ledger against purchase orders
- Processing invoices against Purchase orders, having competency in checking prices / rates from the invoice to the purchase order
- Contacting suppliers with invoice queries and following up on these queries
- Reconciling purchase ledger balances with supplier statements
- Sending invoices for authorisation and dealing with various departments within Smiths Gloucester’s Group
- Printing invoices on a daily basis and preparing for posting to the ledger
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger role
- Strong IT, numeracy and analytic skills, with great attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and work efficiently, with a positive and can-do attitude
- Ability to build relationships, both with customers and operational managers, using excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop
- Able to work on own and as part of a small team
