We are currently seeking a Facilities and Maintenance operative. This role will involve working between our portfolio of modern residential and student properties in Luton performing both facilities management and maintenance duties.

This role is 9am-5pm (with a paid lunch and break time) and is based in the Luton city centre area.

The regular duties of this position are as follows:
**Facilities Management**
- Testing fire alarms
- Testing smoke control systems
- Testing refuge panels
- Testing EM lights
- Legionella compliance

**Maintenance**
- Light Replacements
- Basic joinery (doors, kitchen units, flat pack furniture)
- Basic plumbing
- Upkeep of external areas
- A strong work ethic
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Good IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and have experience of writing reports
- Conscientious record keeper
- Experience with stock checks and ordering materials from suppliers
- Has a full, clean driving license
