Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Operative to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all necessary training to effectively perform maintenance duties.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all cleaning tools, materials, and approved substances utilized by our organization.
- Ensure the proper upkeep, cleanliness, security, and safety of the premises and surrounding areas.
- Monitor and manage all service requests issued through the helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct all scheduled and unscheduled porterage tasks as per SLAs and organizational requests.
- Serve as the primary responder to all helpdesk inquiries, providing resolutions or necessary feedback.

Maintenance Duties:
- Perform all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks as mandated, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, including routine fire alarm and sprinkler system tests, as well as monthly emergency lighting checks.
- Participate in out-of-hours facility usage on a rotational basis.
- A successful completion of a DBS Check is required for this position.
