About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Mears. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing a high level of service and support to our clients, ensuring that their facilities are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to ensure that facilities are in good working order.
  • Respond to service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent problems.
  • Work with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure that all necessary documentation is up to date.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and controlled environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
