22 hours, Monday to Friday, with some early starts required.
At City Facilities Management, we are dedicated to ensuring that our partner stores are safe, compliant, and well-maintained. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Facilities Management Team as Maintenance Assistants, responsible for a single store.
Key Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Assistant will undertake various general maintenance and support tasks, including:
- Executing scheduled planned maintenance tasks (e.g., fire alarm tests, water temperature checks, and cleaning).
- Conducting weekly defrosting procedures for store equipment.
- Performing minor repairs to building fabric.
- Assisting with basic decorating tasks.
- Handling minor plumbing and joinery repairs.
- Completing miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks as required.
All tasks must be carried out in accordance with our Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A diverse set of practical skills and experience in maintenance trades.
- A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong self-motivation.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with tablets and common software applications.
- Good communication abilities.
- A valid UK driver's license for roles covering multiple stores.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving heavy items.
