**About us**
At South West Engineering & Fabrications Ltd we manufacture parts and assemblies for a variety of industries. Our Company’s main activities are laser cutting, folding and metal fabrication across a wide range of customers.
**About the role**
SWE has an exciting opportunity where the main role will be to develop and run the firm’s Production process within a busy office environment.
**Responsibilities**
- Point of contact for all customer Sales enquiries
- Producing quotes for non-customised products as well as re-pricing for all parts
- Creation of all sales product codes and sales orders
- Weekly production scheduling
- Use of Bysoft - nesting all required jobs etc
- Creation of drawing & production packs
- Producing delivery notes
- Solidworks - 2D drawing creations
- Dealing with customer quality issues
- Cover for Purchasing.
- Schedule & co-ordinate production timelines
**Location & commitments**
- Permanent full time role based at our workshop in Balmaclellan. Monday - Friday (40 hours per week 8 - 4.30pm)
- Overtime may be required at short notice with occasional weekend work
- Great communication skills
- Administrative experience
- Strong work ethic and can do attitude
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Previous use of Sage Accounts would be preferred, however in house training will be provided.
Pay: From £25,000.00 per year
