Sales and Customer Service Advisor

**Salary**:Up to £22,500 (including commission)

Our Holidays Consultants are the first line of contact with PGL’s potential Holidays’ customers for our Adventure Holidays and Family Active products. As a Holidays Consultant you are responsible for maximising sales and delivering high levels of customer care and satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1) Maximise Sales:

- Seek to convert the maximum number of incoming enquiries into confirmed reservations.
- Input customer reservations accurately and maintain accurate records of each booking using the computer based systems.
- Meet set call targets daily.
- Meet individual sales targets.
- Contribute to departmental revenue targets.
- Ensure wherever commercially viable that we do not lose business to competitive activity.
- Make outbound follow up calls to convert leads to sales.

2) Administer Bookings From Point of Sale to Confirmation
- Supply customers with all the information they require regarding their prospective holiday in a timely manner.
- Handle telephone calls, correspondence and all associated administration
- Ensure payments are collected in a timely manner by proactively chasing payments and working closely with the reservations teams to send invoices etc.
- Provide accurate information about customers to the reservations teams and other internal colleagues/departments in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of each booking using the computer based systems.

3) Develop an In-Depth Knowledge of PGL Holidays Products
- Attend staff educational visits and training sessions
- Study PGL Holidays brochures and other promotional material to ensure that knowledge of current products promotions is constantly kept up to date
- Attend regular team meetings.

4) Other Responsibilities
- To continue to develop your product knowledge and skills in order to keep up with changes in technology, ways of working and changes in customer expectations.
- To regularly review own targets and work towards the achievement of agreed objectives.
- To ensure that your operational practices as well as the treatment of others, actions and attitudes are in-line with the company's Equal Opportunities policy and are appropriate at all times.

Additionally, all PGL staff will need to have received satisfactory references prior to starting employment._
