The Role

The Supervision Hub is a key part of the Authorisations Division within the Conduct Business Unit. Our customers are both the regulated community and members of the public. As first point of contact the Supervision Hub handles calls from regulated firms as well as from consumers every day.

The Supervision Hub has accreditation from the Contact Centre Association (CCA), an organisation recognised as a professional body for Contact Centres. This highlights the Supervision Hub as an area committed to continual improvement and professionalism not only in its processes and procedures but also for its people

We now have a full-time administrator vacancy which will involve working with, and supporting, the Supervision Hub Senior Manager and management team on a day-to-day basis. The position offers a variety of activities, including an opportunity to cover the Head of Department (HoD)’s PA role over holiday periods, and being an involved and vital part of the department.

What does the role involve?- Managing the diaries/providing administrative support to the Senior Manager and several Managers.- Providing support to, and cover for, the HoD’s PA.- Co-ordinating meeting agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions- Creating/maintaining team OneNote- Booking meeting rooms ensuring they have all necessary equipment- Arranging travel-
- Requesting laptops and systems ready for new joiners and ensuring all requests are actioned on time- Assisting with recruitment- Co-ordinating/organising events- Opportunity to learn more about the FCA by being an integral part of a busy, fast-paced, and friendly department.- Interact with people at a variety of different levels within the FCA, including Senior Management- Manage your own varied workload- Work in a supportive environment for personal development- Regular opportunities to gain PA experience by covering for the HoD’s PA.

Skills/Experience Required

Minimum- Proven administrative experience and excellent organisational skills.-
- Experience in dealing with highly confidential and staff-sensitive information.

Essential- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities- Experience of communicating effectively with senior stakeholders.- Working to tight deadlines within a very fast-paced environment- Self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload and competing priorities- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a busy team, supporting others to meet the needs of the department.- Able to complete administrative tasks with mínimal supervision- Proactive and driven to deliver tasks to a high standard.- Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to interact with people at all levels (written and oral).- Team player, able to work flexibly- Commitment to improve processes and share good practice.

Desirable- Experience within a contact centre or a financial services organisation- Familiarity with FCA administrative processes and systems

Additional Information
