**Executive Assistant**

**In a nutshell**

This role requires an experienced PA to provide professional, comprehensive and high-quality administrative support to the Chief People Officer & Head of Corporate Affairs. The role holder will ensure the smooth management of their day-to-day commitments through undertaking a full range of personal assistant duties, including diary management, scheduling meetings, handling itineraries and inbox management. This is a high-profile role which requires tact, initiative and the ability to perform to the highest of professional standards. Given the sensitive nature of the work, the role holder will also need to exercise complete discretion and confidentiality at all times.

**What you need to** do**
- Manage, organise and prioritise the CPO’s diary, ensuring they are well informed and fully briefed for upcoming commitments, responsibilities and deadlines.
- Screen and prioritise all correspondence coming into the CPO, taking ownership to manage queries through to resolution.
- Build a strong network amongst other PA’s and Board Directors within the business to ensure smooth organisation of meetings and diaries.
- Collate reports or papers for the CPO where needed.
- Book all business travel arrangements when required.
- Provide ad hoc administrative duties as may reasonably be required by the CPO.
- Be an ambassador of the HR and Corporate Affairs division

**What you need to know** and show**
- Significant experience as a Personal Assistant at an Executive level within a fast moving and complex environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships, influence and liaise clearly and confidently at all levels
- Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
- Highly skilled in communicating with tact, discretion, and diplomacy on confidential and sensitive matters
- Mature and grounded confidence in the presence of senior people
- A clear sense of initiative and takes ownership to resolve issues with minimum supervision or direction
- Highly proficient in MS office suite programmes (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Teams).
- Demonstrates a positive, "can-do" attitude and a high level of flexibility to provide support in response to changing priorities and needs.
- Ability to maintain high levels of attention to detail and accuracy whilst working under pressure.
