Our company, MRC, was recently awarded Medico-legal Provider of the Year and is going through an exciting phase of growth.
Within the medico-legal industry (clinical negligence/personal injury/child protection), it is well-recognised that a bundle of well sorted records can add significant value to solicitors with their clients' claims. At MRC, we pride ourselves on providing a highly-regarded medical record collation and analysis service for a large number of law firms and local councils nationwide.
This role will allow you to draw on your extensive acquired knowledge and experience. Therefore, if you have experience of sorting medical records, and can demonstrate being organised, logical, analytical, with a keen eye for detail, and have excellent communication and IT skills, we would love to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Sorting records digitally from various medical sources (including GP and hospital trusts) into chronological order and within approved sections, and paginating (page numbering)
- Preparing and typing indexes
- Working within MRC guidelines and using company templates
- When fully accustomed to the role, working to targets in a fast-paced environment
- Providing support to clients and colleagues as required
**Key Skills**
You must:
- Be meticulous in nature and pay exceptional attention to detail
- Be able to work logically, methodically, and efficiently whilst under pressure
- Have exceptional written grammar and communication skills
- Have excellent IT literacy
- Be able to work within a team and independently
