**Salary**:Up to £60,000 DOE
**Benefits**:20% Performance Bonus, Company car/Car Allowance, Pension, Private Medical Cover, Life Assurance and 25 days holiday + Bank holidays.
- Our client is seeking a Business Development to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to create new business & sales growth by maximising new business opportunities and ensuring retention and growth of clients._
**Duties including, but not limited to**:
- To lead and manage sales and new business development.
- To be overall responsible for the achievement of the new business growth and development.
- To work closely with management team to ensure all opportunities are maximised.
- To produce an annual strategic business plan.
- To ensure the creation and management of an opportunity pipeline.
- Develop and sustain a strong understanding of the major accounts and act as the senior relationship holder.
- Provide leadership and sign off for commercial decisions, in-line with correct authorisation.
- Continually drive and motivate the team to explore new business opportunities
- To build new and sustain relationships to maximise all opportunities.
**Person Requirements**:
- Experienced sales professional with a proven business development and sales track record, ideally working for a consumer brand.
- Experience in business development around new business concepts.
- Experience selling into large retail or B2B channels (e.g. facilities management, theme parks, holiday parks, tourist attractions, post offices, service station/train station/airport space)
- Driven to achieve targets and follow up on all sales opportunities.
- Graduate calibre with excellent commercial acumen, coupled with strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all levels of an organisation
- A collaborative team player who supports their colleagues and managers
- Highly motivated and target driven, with a positive attitude & tenacity
- Strong administration, planning and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence. Willingness to undertake national travel.
