To assist the Complaints and Incidents Manager in the efficient and effective management of complaints and incidents handling at the Trust.

To co-ordinate the recording, triage/grading and subsequent investigation of both complaints and incidents in accordance with legislation and Trust policy. In addition, the post holder will provide a range of administrative support, including the deployment of secretarial skills to the Complaints and Incidents Manager.

**Liaises with**:
Patients, and carers, Independent Advocacy, Executive Directors, Non-Executive Directors, Service Directors, Business Support Managers,

Investigating Managers, all staff levels within the Trust, partner agencies and organisations, Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, Care Quality Commission, Trust Legal advisors and solicitors

All new clinical support staff will be required to have completed or working towards the Care Certificate (CWP In-house 2 day training to be completed within 6 months of start date).

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. A small annual fee of £13 per year applies.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
