An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the charity team at the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

The post holder will support a small, friendly team in driving forward the charity strategy, increasing awareness of the charity's work and working with supporters and volunteers raising funds to provide projects and equipment that enhance the experience of our staff, volunteers and patients.

- Working to support stakeholders in expenditure initiatives to support staff, volunteers and local communities in line with Charity objectives.
- Supporting all stakeholder relationships (internal and external), dealing with queries in a timely manner
- The management and upkeep of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- As part of a small team, this varied role will also provide administrative support in the day to day running of the Charity.
- Any other duties as may be required by the Head of Charity / Head of Financial Services.
- There may be the requirement to travel to other organisational locations.

The role will operate across all areas of the Trust so excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and problem solving skills are essential.

Business Plan
- Contribute to the delivery against the agreed Charity Business Plan.
- Ensuring the appropriate governance processes are followed and accurate records kept
- Provide, in a timely manner, accurate information that will assist the Head of Charity / Charitable Funds Committee in carrying out

Communications and Engagement
- Work collaboratively the Head of Charity, Communications Team and other Trust departments to contribute to the ongoing process of raising awareness and support for the Charity across all stakeholder
- Ongoing maintenance of CRM system, customer engagement and all related correspondence.
- Assist with the Charity social media accounts
- Ensure a consistent ‘look and feel’ for the Charity and reflect in all materials, communications, website content, fundraising pages, social media etc.
- Ensure all communication is clear, consistent and represents the values and ethos of the
- Represent the Charity as required in an appropriate and professional manner, upholding the reputation of both the Trust and the
- Champion and deliver cross-team and cross organisational working.

Income generation
- Assist in the co-ordination all Trust Charity fundraising Ensuring that volunteers and staff receive appropriate stewardship and are supported to maximise potential for the charity via a range of opportunities.
- Promote the Trust Charity to support further income generation.

Governance and Compliance
- Ensure staff, volunteers and supporters are aware of Charity Governance. Ensuring that policies, processes, systems and controls are maintained, fully compliant and continually strengthened to ensure adherence to standards recommended by the Institute of Fundraising and required under the Charities Act, Fundraising Regulator, Information Commissioner/GDPR and Charities Commission.
- Provide, in a timely manner, accurate information that will assist the Head of Charity / Charitable Funds Committee in carrying out
- Actively contribute to the successful working of the Trust and the Charity by: - Ensuring Trust corporate governance requirements are adhered to, including Information Governance, financial controls and Trust
- Ensuring the Charity function is positive, proactive and influential in its contribution to the Finance Directorate’s strategic and operational planning processes.

Stakeholder Management
- Prepare information for inclusion in reports and project evaluation, including both qualitative and quantitative beneficiary data, financial information and calculation of ROI (return on investment) ratios.
- Act as a point of contact for staff and volunteers, ensuring all queries receive a high quality and prompt response and where appropriate they are fully aware of responsibilities, targets and budgets when implementing
- Engage with and support departments to work together to ensure projects which have been allocated charitable funds adhere to reporting requirements / conditions of grants etc.
- Provide updates for the Head of Charity, Charitable Funds Committee, Project Boards, and other sub-groups within the Trust, as required and where appropriate

Directorate and Wider Working

Actively contribute to the successful working of the Planning and Performance team, the wider Finance Directorate and Trust including:

- Communicate any business-critical matters to the Acting Planning Manager in a timely
