**About you**

We are looking for someone who shares our values, our work ethic and who wants to be a part of our exciting future. The position will be based in Essex but will require working further afield and at

times working away from home overnight. We are looking for a highly motivated person to support the delivery of land management, habitat creation, conservation and other practical contracts. You will need to have a good attitude, strong work ethic and be able to work as part of a team. Training will be given on all aspects of the varied role but is a good opportunity to broaden your skill set. The role comprises of hands on, physical work which is largely outdoors.

Tasks include but are not limited to construction of artificial Badger setts, otter holts, hibernacula and pond creation and remediation. Brush cutting (strimming), vegetation clearance and habitat maintenance, along with various machine work such as excavators, tractors, ride on mowers, articulated machinery.

**Essential Requirements**

- CS30.1 - Chainsaw maintenance
- CS30.2 - Cross cutting timber
- CS31 - Fell and processing small trees up to 380mm
- CS32 - Fell and process Large trees above 380mm
- CS38 - Aerial Rescue
- CS39 - Aerial cutting of trees using a chainsaw
- PA1 and/or PA6
- Stump grinding
- Wood chipper
- MEWP
- Trailer
- Tractor
- CPCS Excavator

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
