Anderson Knight Recruitment are working with a client based in Glasgow to recruit a HR Assistant on a full time basis for a period of 6 months with a possibility of extension. The clients operational hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with 2 shift patterns to choose from. The clients office is close to public transport links and has onsite parking, they can also offer flexibility around hybrid working.

As an Employee Relations Assistant, you will be responsible for providing first line HR advice to colleagues across the business, escalating complex issues and supporting with ER investigations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist employee relations administration, including taking notes during investigations and typing up outcome letters.
- Answering first line HR queries
- Advising on tier 1 ER issues
- Escalating complex ER issues to the HR Team Leader
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of employee data in our HR systems.

**Criteria**:

- Experience working in a HR Assistant position
- Knowledge of employment law and legislation
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
