Office Administrator

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our Team. We are a busy Joinery Manufacturing Company located in Gatebeck near Kendal. You will also assist with the running of our other business, Lakes Self Storage, which is a small self-storage facility located next to the Joinery business.
This is an interesting & varied role, duties include:
- Incoming & outgoing phone calls
- Incoming & outgoing post
- Banking cheques & chasing overdue invoices
- Process supplier & sub-contractor invoices
- Provide general admin support to the Company Directors & Estimators
- Schedule meetings & reminders
- Assist with ordering
- Assist with HR
- Diarise/arrange vehicle maintenance
- Data entry onto excel spreadsheets
- Social media
- Internet usage
- Filing & office housekeeping
- Basic IT troubleshooting
Essential requirements:
- Competent in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe & Web Browsers
- GCSE English & Maths
- High level of accuracy & attention to detail
- Work can be fast paced at times, you must be able to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- You must be able to work unsupervised & as part of a team
- Good communication skills & good telephone manner
- Self-motivated & excellent organisational skills
- Able to manage & prioritise own workload
- Flexible & positive attitude to work
This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday. Working hours are 34 hours per week 9am to 4.30pm (3.30pm on Fridays). 29 days annual leave including bank holidays. 2 weeks annual leave to be taken during Christmas shut down.
Salary is dependent on experience & will be discussed with short-listed applicants.
