Office Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Office Administrator to join our busy team.

This role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, the individual must be able to work within a team but also work using their own initiative and problem solve whilst multi
- tasking.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Taking and processing sales orders & payment
- Tracking orders
- General administration for the office
- Maintaining the filing system
- Customer service and maintaining customer database
- Handling customer queries & requests
- Communicating with other departments about orders as necessary
- To provide support to all areas of the business and assist colleagues

The successful applicant may also be required to learn skills required in other departments, such as certain aspects of production and packing, in order to be able to provide cover for staff shortages in these areas.

**The Applicant**
- Good communication skills
- General Computer Experience (Excel, Outlook, Word etc.)
- Some experience of SAP Accounts (ideal but not necessary)
- Customer Service experience
- The ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative as well as working within a team.
- Keen eye for detail, able to identify issues and escalate appropriately
- Ability to follow instructions and processes
- Willingness to learn new skills and carry out hands-on tasks in other departments
- Excellent time keeping

**Qualifications & Experience**
- A good understanding and experience of administration
- Good experience in MS Suites is required
- A positive and proactive approach and a good team player
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and able to work under minimum supervision

Hours:
Normal working hours are variable but with a guarantee of 24 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Wednesday, 8.00am to 4.30pm. You may also be required to pick up additional shifts between Thursday and Friday 8:00am to 4.30pm.

Your additional hours to be worked each week will be as necessitated by the needs of the business, usually notified to you by your Manager, one week in advance.

For additional hours worked you will either be paid at your basic rate of pay, or receive time off in lieu.

**Salary**: £15,600 p.a
