Product Governance Consultant

**Location**:The base office location for this role is Solihull, as this is a hybrid role, home working is permitted and we have flexible working locations in both York and Leeds.

**Role Objectives**

The purpose of the Product Governance team within the Proposition Function of Primis is to ensure the products offered by providers on our panel, support our members in delivering, good outcomes which offer fair value for customers.

This is a dynamic and varied role in which the role holder will be required to work with both internal and external stakeholders to assist the Head of Product Governance in meeting our regulatory requirements.

In addition to monitoring and supporting oversight of existing relationships, the role holder will work to support the wider proposition team to deliver commercial opportunities that support corporate objectives to increase profitability of LSL FS and our brokers.

**Key Accountabilities**

**1.** To collate relevant management information from panel providers, lender and internal stakeholders and update departmental dashboards, as prescribed by the proposition governance framework.

**2.** Work with providers and lenders to gather and interrogate information required for us to meet our regulatory obligations, providing escalation to the HOPG and relevant governance committees.

**3.** To review lender and provider communications, with a customer first focus and attention to detail. Storing approvals and challenges.

**4.** Assist with provider and lender panel appointments by supporting proposition managers in collating and cataloguing documents required in the initial due diligence process

**5.** Supporting proposition managers with their quarterly/half yearly/ quarterly “proposition governance reviews” through the creation of agendas/meetings packs, including documenting and tracking delivery of agreed actions

**6.** Providing support to the proposition committee as and when required, this could include minute taking, collation of documents for meeting packs relating to agenda items and chasing open actions.

**7.** Oversight, maintenance and version controlling proposition owned documents, including those in the wider business or member domain.

**8.** Assist the HOPG in the delivery of projects/ business change applicable to the propositions function.

**9.** Completion and support of other tasks of a similar nature as requested by the HOPG.

**Key Result Areas**

► Proactively working to maintain the proposition relationship dashboard, accurately which in turn drives the functions risk-based relationship management approach.

► Completion of the product and services, fair value assessments on an annual basis

► Overseeing the completion of actions arising from provider governance reviews

► Supporting with the delivery of critical product and proposition projects

► Ability to spot and escalate trends which could lead to customer/commercial detriment.
