Property Officer East

Join our team at Blackwood and become a crucial part of our esteemed Assets Team as a Property Officer. This is an incredible opportunity to be at the forefront of overseeing and managing property and environmental maintenance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
As a Property Officer, you will be at the heart of our maintenance operations, coordinating closely with contractors to swiftly resolve maintenance issues and maintain superior quality standards. You will conduct comprehensive property inspections, manage insurance-related repairs, and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine property inspections and identify necessary repairs.
- Supervise and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks within allocated budgets and timelines.
- Oversee void management procedures, including pre and post-void property inspections, repairs, and efficient property re-allocation.
- Liaise with insurers and manage insurance claims, facilitating seamless customer transitions during property evacuation.
- Ensure compliance with gas servicing contracts and oversee various testing protocols, including legionella, asbestos, fire safety, EICR, PAT testing, and invasive non-native species monitoring.
- Address customer concerns, manage tenant inquiries, and handle complaints following established procedures.
- Provide essential support during peak work periods, participate in tenant meetings, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in property management or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication and coordination skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
