**Property Inspector**

**£24,000 - £28,000 DOE**

The Recruitment Bunker are recruiting for a Property Inspector based in Glasgow.

As a Property Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting stock condition surveys, identifying urgent repairs, and providing comprehensive reports on various properties. You will also utilise the groups cutting-edge Chameleon software for inventory assessments.

**Overview of the Role**
- Property Inspector
- Salary - £24,000 - £28,000 DOE
- Company Van and Fuel Card
- Holidays: 30 days inclusive of Bank Holidays. 1 additional day accrued per year of service to a maximum of 5 days, with the option to buy an additional 5 days of leave.

- Training: To become Retrofit Assessor / Domestic Energy Assessor
- Location - Central Belt - East (Edinburgh, Dundee)

**Role Responsibilities**
- Carrying out stock condition surveys
- Recording findings in our integrated software
- Identifying required urgent repairs
- Undertake Inventory related property assessments using our in-house Chameleon software
- Submit comprehensive, accurate reports, submitted same day
- Meet daily targets relating to volumes and quality of work
- Display a ‘right first time’ attitude to service delivery
- Escalate queries to Project Lead promptly and take ownership of resolution
- Attend training sessions as required.

***Essential skills**
- Bachelor’s degree in building surveying or a related field and have building surveying experience
- Valid Disclosure
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work on your own initiative
- Excellent IT skills and effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Show flexibility and adaptability
- Embrace new products and processes within a changing business
- Take ownership of Continuous Personal Development
- Diligent, trustworthy, and respectful when working in client's homes
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to travel and work away
- Knowledge and use of android devices.

**Desirable skills**
- Experience of undertaking Inventory related property inspections
- Technical drawing skills
- Building surveying experience
- Knowledge of Scottish Housing Quality Standards
- Knowledge of energy systems and energy saving measures.
