Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £13.05 per hour, reflecting the qualifications and experience required.
This non-sessional post includes working 52 weeks per year, with a 2-week rolling rota that covers various shifts.
Job Responsibilities
As a Facilities Management Assistant, you will work closely with the Facilities Co-ordinator / Area Officer to provide an integrated facilities management service.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting with the provision of efficient and effective facilities management within East Lothian Council premises.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A relevant qualification in facilities management or a related field would be advantageous.
How You Will Work
You will be based at one of our council premises and will work on a variety of tasks, including maintenance and repairs, health and safety, and administrative duties.
Working Hours and Conditions
The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:00-14:15 and Friday, 07:00-13:30 (Week 1), or Monday to Thursday, 13:45-21:00 and Friday, 13:00-19:30 (Week 2).
