The role of HR Assistant is to provide exceptional admin support by ensuring the effective operation of Healthshare’s HR policies, procedures and processes and to comply with current legislation. A key part of the role will be maintaining and ensuring accuracy of employee records using the HR platform - Access. Interpersonal skills are vital to provide support to stakeholders across the Group.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Assist with planning recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
- Responsible for the administration and onboarding process, such as new starters, carrying out pre-employment checks, responding to queries.
- Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs, inclusive of working with other departments.
- Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.
- To help support and deliver the HR Team’s strategy, making sure processes are fit for purpose.
- Organise & maintain HR filing system and folders
- Telephone work and message taking will apply
- Participate in ad hoc projects and other duties as required.
- Research and Identify new sourcing methods
- Work collaboratively with the HR team to ensure a good level of compliance is always maintained.
- Assisting with overall recruitment administrative duties when required.
- Support and upload new staff documents and records to the HR System and in house recruitment tracker.
- Being a first point of contact for employees and new starters on HR related queries.
- Prepare and amend where necessary HR documents i.e., offer letters, employment contracts, internal staff changes, references, and other People Team guides.
- Participate in ad hoc HR projects and other duties as required.
