**Pensions Payroll Assistant**
**£21,000 to £23,000pa DOE**
**Hybrid/Kings Hill, Kent**
Do you have significant experience within an operational payroll team? Do you consider yourself to have excellent accuracy and attention to detail?
HRConnect are looking for a dedicated individual to deliver day to day payroll services to pensioners of the Local Government Pension Scheme.

**Key duties**
- Be able to produce manual payroll calculations from gross to net, crosschecking others work, checking all reports and taking appropriate action
- Maintain relevant entries on employee records via Altair and personnel files ensuring the quality and integrity of payroll data, adhering to Data Protection
- Develop good working relationships with colleagues and all third parties
- Carry out a range of Pensions payroll support activities ensuring accurate and efficient processing of related documentation
**What we need from you**
- A good knowledge and understanding of Altair or other integrated platforms
- Previous experience within an operational payroll team
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Adept at handling confidential and sensitive information and dealing with complex queries
- Capability for managing own workload, delivering to tight deadlines and working under pressure
