This is a 60% Training & 40% HR role to start with but will transition into a full HR only role. We are looking for a strong HR Administrator/Assistant who is looking for a progressive role. We are looking for someone to start immediately. This is a fully onsite, Monday to Friday 9-5 job.

**Job Purpose**:
To provide recruitment HR administration in line with Resourcing and HR policies and procedures and ensure consistency of approach across the site. To drive recruitment activity at site and to ensure that colleagues are recruited, on-boarded and paid in a manner that fits with our purpose and behaviours.

**Key duties**:
Resourcing
- Work closely with the Central Talent Acquisition team to agree recruitment methods
- Ensure that recruitment policy and process is adhered to
- Manage and maintain ATS
- Co-ordinate assessment centres on site
- Ensure contract request forms (CRFs) are raised and submitted in a timely manner
Onboarding
- Ensure thorough induction is arranged and completed for all new starters
Compliance & Mandatory Training
- Ensure that DBS renewals are monitored and undertaken during employee life cycle
- Ensure all perm and bank staff are up to date with mandatory training. Hitting required target for site
- Arrange and book training as and when required
- Liaise with Central Learning & Development team
Engagement & Retention
- Support and drive Colleague Engagement surveys at site to increase response rates and employee engagement
- Work alongside Site Director to ensure regular meetings are held and representation is at local and regional meetings
- Ensure exit interviews are carried out with all leavers from site
- Highlight any themes or concerns arising from Exit Interviews
Absence Management
- Ensure absence management policy and procedures are being adhered to at site for both ad hoc, short term and long term absence
- Identify, understand and address high levels of absence with managers
- Ensure return to work interview are carried out following any absence
- Liaise with Regional HR team for guidance and support in relation to absences where required
- Work with managers to ensure appropriate Occupational Health referrals are made when required
- Any other ad hoc task as and when required
Documentation & General Duties
- Ensure that all relevant documentation related to employees is recorded, maintained and stored
- Create and maintain employee personnel files at site
- Support with the administration and coordination of investigations, grievances and other HR processes under the advice of Regional HR
- Provide cover for Payroll as and when required
- You will be expected to provide cover and support to the wider team and site as and when needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £15.00-£15.50 per hour
